Student Information Easily Accessible on Parents’ iPhones
Some of the information below was recently published in the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Parents, this is what you have always been asking for…Anytime, anywhere access to detailed information about your child’s grades, attendance and homework assignments is now available instantly from any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with a free app provided by the Kentucky Department of Education.
By downloading the Infinite Campus Mobile Portal, students and parents can keep track of upcoming assignments and class schedules. There is both summary and detailed information about absences and tardies, and grades – even down to individual assignments.
One exciting feature is that the app will allow the users to set up notifications when assignments, grades or attendance information changes.
The portal is encrypted to keep student information safe and confidential. After launching the app, you will be asked to enter a unique URL code found alongside an icon at the bottom of the online Parent Portal. You will then be asked to enter your Infinite Campus Portal username and password, followed by selecting the “Go” button and you’re in!!!!
The app came to Kentucky at no additional cost as part of the state’s existing contract with Infinite Campus. The online system allows educators to manage attendance, grade books, lesson plans, student transfers, grade promotions and other data from any computer with internet access.

BELLEVUE SCHOOLS - A SAFE PLACE FOR OUR STUDENTS
Recent polls show that parents’ first concern about schools today is their child’s safety. That is my concern as well. Fortunately, the Bellevue Independent Schools is very safe. However, no community is immune from the threats of violence and drugs that endanger public schools nationwide.
We are continuing to utilize a Safe School Helpline to help prevent such actions. It is designed to assist you in reporting any wrongdoing that impacts our schools, our students or our staff – anonymously, so as to protect your privacy. For example, you may wish to report acts of violence, theft, drug or alcohol use, weapons or sexual harassment.
Just call from a touch-tone phone to 1-800-4-1-VOICE, ext 359 (418-6423) to leave your information. Your message will not be traced, and you will not be identified. The Safe School Helpline team will transcribe and fax your message to school officials, so appropriate action can be taken.
Thank you for your continued support to provide a better education for all Bellevue students. If you have any questions about the Safe School Helpline, please call Kathy Riley at BHS or Rob Sanders at Grandview.
